delapena Honing Equipment Ltd is a well-established progressive company recognized for the manufacturer of honing machines and associated tooling sold around the world.

The Administration function is an integral part of delapena Group’s product offering process.

The role will include running the company MRP system and creating both production orders and purchase requirements.

The role will also include day to day activities in the stores. This is by no means an exhaustive list but merely gives an overview of the day-to-day roles.

Administration

  • Running and actioning the manufacturing MRP system. Raising works orders, purchase orders, obtaining quotations, progress chasing and updating progress reports.
  • Purchasing using the MRP system all facility and logistic requirements.
  • Updating and producing the Pre and Post inspection reports for key accounts.
  • Order acknowledgement and invoice reconciliation.
  • Generating sales orders for some internal and external requirements.
  • Checking supplier schedules and identifying critical items.
  • Recommend and investigate cost savings.

Stores

  • Packing of Finished Products.
  • Dispatch Note order Picking.
  • Preparing / Packaging / Booking Couriers for orders ready for dispatch.
  • Receiving works orders into stock and locating the items.
  • Goods In. Purchase orders and advice note receiving.
  • Raising advice notes for subcontract operations.
  • Packaging stock control.
  • Stock control including perpetual stock checks.
  • Assist in developing, preparing, and updating documentation.
  • Mentor & train new delapena personnel in department.
  • Recommend improvements.
  • Arranging Logistics.

The position will require the candidates to have very good communication skills and the ability and initiative to solve problems.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 38.5 hours per week, with paid overtime as required.

Salary

  • Competitive Salary Based on experience and ability.

Working Hours

  • 07.30-16.30 Monday to Thursday 07.30-12.00 Friday
